Setting (NTS)
Copenhagen, Denmark. Guileless Denmark

Plot
Ellen and Annmarie are to normal school girls. There is one problem. Ellen is Jewish and it's 1943. Not a good year to be jewish. Pretty soon it becomes difficult to live in Copenhagen Denmark. So the girls, there mother and little sister move to Gilleleje Denmark. Ellen can't live in Gilleleje for long. Lucky for Ellen Annmarie's uncle Henrik, smuggles jews out of Denmark and into one of the only free countries left and not taken over by Hitlers empire, Sweden. Annmarie's friend, Peter, helped make a hanker chief that dulls the smell of dogs. So when the dogs are sniffing around their senses are being dulled. The hanker chief contains dried rabbit blood, and cocaine. In the end, Ellen gets to safety. In the afterword it says the charators are fictional but based on real people that lived during World War II. I loved this book because so many different types of writing were infused in this book.

What type of story wad this book?
I think this book deserves the category, Action/ Adventure. I say this because there are many parts in the story where Annmarie is either caught up with some german soldiers or on the verge of discovering something very important.
